​SAVE THE BIODIVERSITY

We have two main activities in order to raise awareness of outside local people and educate local people about biodiversity conservation in Hin Nam No National Protected Area, Khammouane Province, Laos.

1. Community Awareness Raising

We focus on villagers who live surround Hin Nam No NPA because villagers are directly involved and engaged in the sustainable use and protection of the NPA, making their living out of it. And as diverse as flora and fauna are inside the NPA, as diverse are the people around. Different ethnic groups, speaking different languages and dialects are about to proof that a joint effort and strong willingness to change will lead to strong governance and ownership. Thus, conserving not only the habitat of flora and fauna, but their own natural resources.

2. Youth Volunteers

What is a role of people who do not live in the Hin Nam No NPA?

It is important to involve everyone to join the awareness raising campaign together to protect and conserve the biodiversity of Laos sustainable. Moreover youth volunteer will make people understand each other more about issue that they are facing and become strong relationship.
